Note: Sports, recreation equipment and
radios are prohibited in this park. Picnicking is allowed only outside
the Arboretum on the lawn and picnic area. No food is allowed into the
gardens. Persons under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible
adult at all times. Removal of anything natural from the grounds, including
plants, flowers, seed or wildlife is not allowed. This is a smoke-free
garden so no smoking is allowed at the Arboretum. Wheelchairs may be
rented at the gift shop when available. There was a fee to enter, however
the 3rd Tuesday of the month is free admission day (subject to possible
change). Parking was free. |

The Arboretum is a 127-acre botanical garden
and historical site jointly operated by the Los Angeles Arboretum Foundation
and the Los Angeles County Department of Parks and Recreation in order
to cultivate natural, horticultural and historic resources for learning
enjoyment and inspiration. Tram tours are available on week-ends. |
