This campground had gravel/dirt roads and sites. It advertised cable
TV, but on this date, the two RV Gypsies had to get a box from the office
and hook it up to the back of their TV set. They did that at one other
campground and it was a pain in the a--! So Lee Duquette did not want
to take the time to do it. Therefore, only a couple of TV stations came
in without the cable box, and they did not come in very well. (But when
they returned here in 2016, Karen Duquette insisted that they hook up
the cable box.)
The cell phones of Lee and Karen Duquette worked in the campground,
but they only had 2 bars. The campground had coded Wi-Fi at sites that
had a password and it mostly worked okay.
The two RV Gypsies had a long, pull-through, full hook-up site. (They
got assigned the same site, #4, both times they came here. The swimming
pool was closed this time of year (both trips were in September). There
was a catch and release fishing pond on site, playground, volleyball
and horseshoe pit on site. Noisy or nasty pets will be asked to leave
with no refund, but the first night there (in 2015), a yapping dog yapped
from 11:30 p.m. to about 1 a.m. but Karen Duquette was not sure which
RV it was coming from. In 2016 Karen was annoyed by the trains and their
horns. Standard camping rules applied. Check-out time was 1 p.m. on
these dates.
