The Prairie Art
Center displays a variety of art from local, regional and travel artists
including sculptures, handcrafted jewelry, pottery, ceramics, paintings,
textiles and bladesmithing. The Building was closed when Lee and Karen
Duquette were here, but they enjoyed the outdoor fresh air and viewed
several outdoor public art sculptures. |

But somehow, Lee Duquette did not see the actual restaurant, so they did
not eat there. |

Below: As Lee Duquette
drove by Buffalo Bill Cody's Trading Post, at 221 Halligan Drive in North
Platte, Nebraska - Karen Duquette snapped a couple of photos. Fort Cody
Trading Post is Nebraska's Largest Souvenir and Western Gift Store. Located
in North Platte, which offers its Old West Exhibit and its Miniature Wild
West Diorama, FREE of charge! But Lee Duquette did not stop there because
they did not know it was free of charge. |
