The Villages RV Park is just a short shuttle ride
from Turning Stone Resort · Casino. Its Season is April 16,
2011 - October 24, 2011 (may be subject to change in future years).
Each of its 175 paved sites included full utility hookup and wireless
internet service. The RV park featured nature trails, a recreational
area for bocce ball, horseshoes, tennis, basketball and volleyball
and separate ponds for paddle boating and fishing. A heated pool and
Jacuzzi were open daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. The two RV Gypsies
feel that closing the pool and jacuzzi at 8 p.m. is too early. Most
campgrounds keep them open until 9 p.m. which is still too early in
the opinion of the two RV Gypsies.
However, it was a very nice park, one of the best
the two RV Gypsies have found so far. Lots of space between RV's and
nice grass and clean park. Each parking area of each campsite
was paved and each site had nice green grass. There was a covered
trash can at each site; and sites were a good distance apart from
each other. There was a hiking trail, a good sized swimming pool and
hot tub. The entire campground was neat and clean. No gate security
though.
