Westlake RV Resort was a very nice campground, perhaps one of the best parks that the two RV Gypsies have ever stayed in, as of this date. It was also a Passport America park. All roads and sites were paved, which is unusual. It seemed to have mostly full-time RVs in there. The two RV Gypsies did not make a reservation and were told that there was only one site left big enough for their 40-foot RV, so they were lucky.
They had only one complaint; the Wi-Fi code did not work, but they used their own Wi-Fi anyway, as usual. There were a lot of amenities: the park was completely fenced and gated, the brochure said there is a complimentary dog wash station, 1st class laundry facilities, free Wi-Fi park wide, cable TV at all sites, a computer room a 4-acre lake, lots of sites, air station, propane, swinging benches, an outdoor cooking pavilion, vending machines, and close to shopping. There was a hot tub and pool, and the hot tub was adults only from 9 p.m. to 10 p.m. Karen did not use them though. The two RV Gypsies only stayed here one night, and did not use most amenities, other than at their own site. Washing RVs prohibited. Most standard campground rules applied. Check out time 11 a.m. |
