July 5, 2008 - The two RV Gypsies then learned that their son, Brian Lee Duquette, was robbed and murdered in his own home in Orlando, Florida. (use the BRIAN button above for details and eventual updates). So they drove their RV from Indiana to Orlando, Florida in one day. They did not continue their RV travels for 10 months, having a lot of details to handle. Plus Karen got blood clots in both her lungs and almost died herself. But eventually, the Orlando detective told the two RV Gypsies to travel because it would be 3-5 years before Douglas Lively would be tried for first-degree murder. So with big holes in their hearts, and anger and hatred for Brian's killer, Karen and Lee did eventually travel again, but the tears flow daily, and life will never be the same without their son, Brian Lee Duquette, who will never be forgotten by so many people.
