ABOVE: two of many paintings that were along the highway. I could not get a good shot of most of them, but thought they were different and interesting.

importantIF YOU DRIVE A RV, YOU NEED TO KNOW THIS: We had to unhitch our tow car from the motorhome before we could drive up the mountain because vehicles over 45 feet were not allowed and there is a $270 fine. Our RV is 40 feet and with the hitch and car we were 60 feet long. We had trouble finding a spot big enough and flat enough to unhitch the car, but finally managed to do so.
BELOW: two narrow bridges that Lee had to drive our motorhome through. They were both one-way bridges so you had to wait at a traffic light, possibly up to 15 minutes, for the clearance to drive across the bridge. This part was not so much fun.

Indian Flat RV Park is close to the entrance of Yosemite National Park and is nice enough, but not much in amenities. And remember the above mentioned vehicle length restriction, one-way narrow bridge, and the curvy narrow mountain road. No internet or cell phone reception in the campground, nor in Yosemite.

Just enough room for a person to walk between these two RV's. One-inch of space between slide-out and the wall.

Not too much room between the slide out and the tree.

A nice view from outside the RV, but when looking out the window of the RV, there was a small tree that blocked the view. Wish we could have cut the small tree down, but of course that was not possible.
