Mount Shasta
- at 14,162 feet is the tallest volcano in California and can often be seen from more than 100 miles away
For centuries, Mount Shasta has served as the anchor the the Cascade Range, as a spiritual center for Native Americans, and as a nature lover's and mountain climber's paradise.
 
Photos of Mount Shasta taken while driving. The two RV Gypsies were unable to actually go to there, but since Mt. Shasta was in the background of many photos taken at Shasta Lake and Shasta Dam (see sub-menu at the bottom of this page for those photos), it seems appropriate to include these photos here.
